Founding Members of World Alliance of Children's Choirs

The World Alliance of Children's Choirs (WACC), initiated by the Singapore Children's Choir Voices of Singers, is launched on 1 August 2021. It is a global network of children's choirs facilitating cross-cultural exchanges and exposure opportunities for young singers all around the world. Eight conductors from Singapore, Spain, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Malta, Germany and Canada started the alliance. The Hong Kong Children's Choir and the other six choirs are the founding members, which aims to nurture, unite and inspire children of the world via singing.

 

Numbers of new schemes are started alongside the establishment of the alliance, including Repertoire Sharing, Bridging Programme, Chorister and Group Choir Exchange, World Series and Conductor Workshops and Festival Collaborations. Meanwhile, children's choirs from all over the world are invited to be part of the alliance to further expand the network and provide more global music opportunities for choirs and conductors.
