Class Arrangements under Adverse Weather Conditions

Under any circumstances, when school suspension announcement is made by the Education Bureau due to adverse weather conditions or any other emergencies:

Announcement that all primary and secondary schools / day schools / whole day schools are to be suspended. All classes will be cancelled. Announcement that all AM schools are to be suspended. Classes commencing at or before 1:59pm will be cancelled. Announcement that all PM schools are to be suspended. Classes commencing at or after 2pm will be cancelled. Announcement that all kindergartens are to be suspended. All classes will be held as usual.

Weather Warning Signal Hoisting/Issuing Time Class Arrangement Amber Rainstorm Signal Anytime All classes will be held as usual. Red or Black Rainstorm Signal Hoisted during class Classes will continue. Early departure will not be allowed unless the member is accompanied by his/her parent or an authorized adult. All classes that are not yet started will be cancelled. In effect between 6:15am-12noon Classes commencing at or before 1:59pm will be cancelled. Cancelled before 12noon Classes commencing at or after 2pm will be held as usual. *All classes will be cancelled if it is announced that all schools are to be suspended due to adverse weather. Still in effect at or after 12noon All classes will be cancelled. Strong Wind Signal No. 3 or below Anytime All classes will be held as usual. No. 8 Gale / Storm Force Signal or above Pre-No.8 Typhoon Warning Classes commencing 2 hours before the anticipated issuance time of the No.8 Signal will be cancelled. Hoisted during class All classes will be suspended immediately. Parents may pick up members straightaway. In effect between 6:15am-12noon Classes commencing at or before 1:59pm will be cancelled. Cancelled before 12noon Classes commencing at or after 2pm will be held as usual. *All classes will be cancelled if it is announced that all schools are to be suspended due to adverse weather. Still in effect at or after 12noon All classes will be cancelled.
