HKICF School Choir Incubator Programme Finale Concert 2024

The School Choir Incubator Programme is an extension project of the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival (HKICF), which aims at nurturing school choirs through mentorship, workshops and performance opportunities. Its Finale Concert was held from 25 to 26 May at the Auditorium of Sha Tin Town Hall. The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was invited as the guest performer on the first day.
Intermediate 3A of HKCC performed the last programme of the concert on 25 May, performing the HKICF's commissioned work Beneath the Same Moonlight, by Hong Kong composer Ernest Hui, and The Fire Dance of Luna, by the Singaporean composer Darius Lim. The performances were conducted by tutors Vivian Suen and Patricia Chan respectively and accompanied by tutor Kenneth Lau. At the end of the concert, HKCC members performed All the Children of the World alongside the choirs of the seven primary schools operated by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the strategic partner of this project, under the baton of the Artistic Director of HKICF Kelvin Lau and won a round of applause.
