HKEX 25th Commemorative Event

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) marked its 25th anniversary with a commemorative event on 20 June at the HKEX Connect Hall. The event was hosted by HKEX Chairman Carlson Tong and Chief Executive Officer Bonnie Y Chan, with the Honourable Paul Chan, the Hong Kong Financial Secretary, as well as current and former members of HKEX's Board of Directors and senior management in attendance. Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee also congratulated HKEX via a video message at the beginning of the event.
The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) and the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra were invited to perform at this special occasion. Under the baton of Vivian Ip and accompanied by Alexander Wong, the HKCC Chamber Youth brought the evening to a moving close with two songs: Picturesque Cityscape—composed by Jason Liu with lyrics by Jessie You and Blue Skies—as a musical tribute conveying the best wishes for a bright and flourishing future of HKEX.
