HKCC Mother’s Day Concert: Pop Classics for Moms

The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) held two concerts at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on 11 May to celebrate Mother's Day with the audience.
As the HKCC first-ever Mother's Day-themed concert, the members performed a selection of classic pop songs, including Listen to Mom’s Words and The Greatest Love of All. Additionally, members of the harmonica class made their stage debut, impressing the audience with three wonderful pieces after just two months of practice. To add a little extra warmth to the special day, we prepared towel flowers as small gifts for our guests.
At the end of the concert, under the baton of HKCC Music Director and Principal Conductor Ms Kathy FOK, the members gathered on stage to sing Parent’s Grace together, expressing their gratitude to their loved ones. As the melodies filled the hall, our members presented flowers to former HKCC Music Director, Professor Leon TONG, celebrating his 55th anniversary in teaching.
