Concert in the Park – A Salut to Love
Date: 24/12/2025

The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was invited to participate in "Concert in the Park — A Salute to Love", presented by RTHK Radio 4, held at Olympic Square, Hong Kong Park, on the evening of December 24.
Themed "A Salute to Love", this year’s concert focused on "hope and connection between people through music". The concert kicked off with piano accompaniment by Corina Lin, featuring HKCC Concert Choir. The Choir opened with the inspiring choral piece You'll Never Walk Alone. The Cantonese version of this song was penned by HKCC’s Music Director Kathy Fok, with a new arrangement by Alex Tam as the theme song for CanRevive’s 30th anniversary. Subsequently, choral conductor Ernest Hui joined the stage alongside HKCC Senior F members, they performed two more warming pieces: You Raise Me Up and Flying Free. Progressing layer by layer, the three works integrated the belief of "accompanying each other through difficulties and forging ahead hand in hand" into their melodies, resonating deeply with the on-site audience and earning enthusiastic applause.
After that, the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong took the stage under the leadership of Conductor Wilson Ng, collaborating with renowned violinist Esther Yoo. They performed classical masterpieces including Haydn’s Symphony No. 104 "London" (Finale), Brahms’ Haydn Variations, and Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1. This continued the concert’s mission of "conveying love and hope through classics", perfectly interpreting the theme of "A Salute to Love".
