Celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China Wan Chai Grand Celebration Show

To celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was invited by the Wai Chai District Office to perform in the Wan Chai Grand Celebration show on October 17 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
Led by conductor Vivian Ip and accompanied by Alexander Wong, members of Chamber Youth presented “A Mother's Thread in Her Hand”, “Picturesque Cityscape”, and “Blue Skies”, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. The Grand Celebration show also featured a series of spectacular performances, including a national flag-raising ceremony, performances by the Police Silver Band, dance, nunchaku, roller skating, string quartet, singing performances by young students, and renowned artists.
