“Dream of Greater Bay Area” – Celebration Show of the 21st Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Return to the Motherland

Jointly presented by Hong Kong Celebrations Association, Hong Kong Artistic Entertainment Centre and Guangdong Youth Federation, the Celebration Show of the 21st Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Return to the Motherland “Dream of Greater Bay Area” was held at Hong Kong Coliseum on 1 July. The show was officiated by HKSAR Chief Executive Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Secretary for Administration Mr Matthew Cheung, the Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR Mr Wang Zhi-min and Vice Director Mr Chen Dong.

Over 200 HKCC members from Junior 1P, Junior 2B, Intermediate 1I, Intermediate 2B, Intermediate 2I and Intermediate 3A were led by the show’s music director Mr Tang Chi-wai to perform the theme song of Greater Bay Area The Same Home in the opening. They then presented couples of popular TV drama songs with famous singers Ms Joey Yung, Ms Susanna Kwan and Mr Hawick Lau. In the middle of the show, 80 members from Intermediate classes sang out the song I am Chinese with singer Mr David Lui and won a round of applause from the audiences.
