Post-Tour Concert 2026 “Everything Flows”
Date: 22/05/2026

The Post-Tour Concert 2026 of The Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC) will be conducted by Kathy Fok, HKCC’s Music Director and Principal Conductor, who will lead the HKCC Concert Choir in a heartfelt performance. The concert will bring back a wide selection of repertoire from HKCC’s 2026 overseas tour in Singapore and Vietnam, allowing local audiences to experience the charm of choral music from various countries and the wonderful moments of overseas exchanges. With the theme “Everything Flows”, the concert not only embodies the flow of melody but also celebrates life, growth, and the joy of music, featuring several works making their Hong Kong premiere.
Since its establishment in 1969, HKCC has carried out the mission of “Little Goodwill Singing Ambassadors,” bringing Hong Kong’s local music to more than 20 countries worldwide. During this Southeast Asia tour, HKCC will participate in the 1st Voices of the World International Choir Festival, where it will share the stage with leading choirs from around the globe. HKCC will also make its debut in Vietnam, becoming the first children’s choir from Hong Kong to perform there. It will present full concerts at the famous local university and iconic landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City, integrating Vietnamese folk music elements to promote cultural exchange and support the development of local choral music.
The concert features masterpieces by international and local composers, including a brand-new commissioned work, Through Storms and Light, by Dr Darius Lim, a renowned Singaporean conductor and composer. Chu Wan-pin, a famous erhu player and composer who won the Best Original Film Score at the 43rd Hong Kong Film Awards (2025), will also present a brand-new commissioned work, Everything Flows. Additionally, Let’s Sing Together by Corina Lin symbolises the friendship between Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam, and her other work, What Is Man?, explores the meaning of life. The songs integrate local Hong Kong characteristics with overseas experiences, echoing the enduring power of “Everything Flows”.
This tour is sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore. This concert continues HKCC’s tradition of overseas tours and celebrates the joy of artistic exchange. We warmly invite you and your family to join us for this truly “flowing” musical experience.
