The Hong Kong Children¡¦s Choir welcomes the year of the Tiger and
we would like to take the opportunity to wish everybody Happy New Year!

Invited by the Liaison Office of the Central People¡¦s Government in the Hong Kong SAR, The Hong Kong Children¡¦s Choir gladly presented their guest performance at the Cocktail Reception of the Season¡¦s Greetings Assembly held on 26 Feb 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Our Concert Choir performed selected songs in various languages, showing the integration of Eastern and Western cultures in Hong Kong. The performance ended with a magnificent Chinese song titled ¡§Our Nation (Guo Jia)¡¨ that well expressed the yearning of the people of a nation for a close tie with its motherland. The Choir¡¦s performance successfully extended the festive atmosphere of the Lunar New Year to the venue. The lively style of the choral performance accompanied with body movements designed to the lyrics and moods won many compliments from the audience.
